Young Peoples Animated Issues

Co-funded by the Southern and Western Community Engagement Forums, this project will provide a unique insight into young people’s perceptions of their communities. Drawing on the outcome of discussions and workshops with the young people, animations will be produced to showcase the identified problems and proposed solutions, through the eyes and voices of young people. This valuable resource will then be used to inform decision makers and catalyse positive action.

 Working with Selby District Council, North Yorkshire County Council and service providers throughout the region and with funding by the Western and Southern CEFs, we will pull together a report with proposed activities, resources and provision to bring about positive change and advise councils and funding bodies on priorities for their communities. Empowering young people to have a voice in social action is crucial for the future of our communities. An authentic, forward facing, pioneering asset to gain in any community!
